Dead Rising Excavator Glitch

The shrinking text on Dead Rising was considered a problem by players who had some trouble reading the almost microscopic words on their landscape of a TV screen; A glitch that has already been brought to the attention of proper authorities. But if you can pierce through the undead ad infinitum without a single loss of HP using only one heavy duty machine, would you consider that a glitch?

Setix, has written to us about his startling discovery while playing Dead Rising. Here’s what he sent:

“I found a glitch with the excavator that allows you to use it infinitely. Get an excavator from the hardware store in the North Plaza, then drill through a zombie. keep going through zombies, keeping that one zombie attached to the drill. once the weapon icon disappears, you an use it infinately(unless a zombie manages to hit you, in which you just repeat the process) and as long as you keep the zombie attached, the drill’s hp will not deplete. i gone through almost 3000 zombies on just 1 excavator.”
