Dead Rising Zombies Invade UK Malls
Why confine your zombie killing sprees at home when you can do it at the mall? And why chop off zombies’ heads just for fun when you can get a free shirt or HDTV while you’re at it? Why settle for a shopping mall when you can go to a Chopping mall? What are we talking about exactly? (And why is this intro full of questions?)
Capcom has decided to take their Dead Rising zombies to UK malls where gamers can play a web-game called “Chop Til You Drop.” Nix 100 zombies and you get a chance to win one of five t-shirts as a prize. Zap 200 zombies and you get a shot at a Sony HDTV. Irony: Getting a Sony HDTV for playing a web-based X360 game, and using it for your X360 at home. Hehehe.
Sadly, this is only available in UK malls. A good idea though is for Capcom to have this as a quick promo title on XBLA, and make chopping more global, eh? What do you think?
