Denis Dyack’s final say on the E3 Too Human fiasco

Too Human - Image 1

It seems that Silicon Knights president Denis Dyack‘s old wounds heal painfully slow. He hasn’t forgotten the beating Too Human took at E3. He expressed that he was glad the expo is dead. Here’s a snippet from the blog:

I would ask what people thought of Too Human after seeing a demo, knowing the response would not likely be favourable. Many people were polite (thank you), some lied and some were blunt. Some saw the potential, which made “the ice bucket” more tolerable. Hundreds of times we heard criticisms like “the camera is too far out”, “the frame rate is bad”, etc …” It was cold and it hurt a lot. Only this time, the cold didn’t stop for 3 days. We will never forget what it was like.

Silicon Knights have been painfully quiet for quite some time and the lone screen above is the first they’ve released in what seems like eons. Well, hopefully they take the criticism and use it to their advantage. Critics don’t mean to hurt – or atleast not always. Let’s hope that Silicon Knights goes the distance to make Too Human rock.
