Detective Conan heads to the DS

Yep, you got that right! Apparently Detective Conan won’t be restricted to solving cases for the Wii because according to a Siliconera report, Namco Bandai is also working on Detective Conan: Tantei Ka-Trainer (or Detective Conan: Power Detective Trainer) for the DS.

And as you can probably tell just from the title, you won’t be cracking cases in this DS game. And nope, you won’t be training neophyte detectives either. According to Siliconera, Tantei Ka-Trainer is actually a collection of brain-teasing mini games so the chances of you getting tired of the game after solving a case (like in other Detective Conan games) are slim to none. These mini games range from picking out subjects in a line-up to finding the correct key to a door, to playing rock-paper-scissors with a junior detective.

Details remain scarce and there’s no word on the release date yet. But not to worry, we will update you guys once we’re able to get more info about the game. Meanwhile, enjoy the screens we have for you above.
