Developers of Wii channels want even more classic arcade games

Probably more old-school gamers than one could credit them for, the developers behind the Wii’s often overlooked Shop channel said in a channel developers’ chat discussion that they were more interested to find even more classic games than those available on the Wii’s Virtual Console. That said, they were really hoping that the Wii Virtual Console could deliver such arcade classics by turning the channel to a digital museum.

Although retro-gaming for the core gaming bracket isn’t an actual delight, the games can re-educate the new generation of gamers on exactly how the computer game started out and rediscover how fun games were in the past… Hey, it doesn’t hurt to hope for the impossible, right?
