DICE Fiber Optic Kit For Your iPod

Dice Electronics has come up with a iPod integration kit for (MOST) fiber optic vehicles. You will be able to control your iPod from your radio and steering wheel. The kit connects directly to your fiber optic CD changer connector which makes your iPod appear as a large CD changer. The information is then transfered between the iPod and the radio using a dock cable or a dock cradle. The cable is 3ft in length so it allows you to put your iPod on your seat or in the glove box. On the other hand the dock cradle for your iPod is pretty cool it looks as though it is part of your card because of it sleek design.

Some of the features of the cradle are:

  • Can be mounted anywhere
  • Uses a unique ball and cup mount that allows you to angle 70 and rotate 360.
  • Universal iPod connector
  • 2.5mm video outjack that allows you to connect a new (video) iPod to any external video source

The Fiber Optic kit is compatible with Mercedes Benz and Porsche. We dont yet know the cost of the kit because it is not released yet even though there website states that it was expected to release this March.
