Donkey Kong: Jungle Climber website up; new details revealed

Donkey Kong Jungle Climber - Image 1Nintendo fans who are just about tired of waiting for the Donkey Kong DS video game’s release can now let out their collective sighs of relief. Nintendo Company Ltd. has just launched Donkey Kong: Jungle Climber‘s official website. The game will be developed by Paon Corporation and is slated to be released in Japan on August 9.

A few gameplay details are revealed in the site: the shoulder buttons will be used to climb through the various stages, and DK: Jungle Climber will have at least 4 worlds. There is also a possibility of getting a Wi-Fi-enabled mode for this game, judging by the VS mode indicated in the website. The VS section is still not up on the website though.

Looks like the Nintendo DS is going to get a bunch of nice games to be released soon. More details as we get them.
