Dragon Quest IX might be coming to North America too

Following last week’s unearthing of trademark filings for Dragon Quest IX‘s possible European subtitles, gaming blog Siliconera has dug up another one. This time it’s a registration for North America.

 

 

Following last week’s unearthing of trademark filings for Dragon Quest IX‘s possible European subtitles, gaming blog Siliconera has dug up another one. This time it’s a registration for North America.

 

According to the trademark, Dragon Quest IX‘s possible North American release may carry the same subtitle as the one for the English-language European release: Sentinels of the Starry Skies.

 

 

Square Enix hasn’t made anything official yet, but these two filings certainly point towards an overseas release for the game. The only questions that remain are when will it drop and when will Square Enix make the announcement?
