Duke Nukem Forever sighting: it does exist, details revealed
What’s taking Duke Nukem Forever forever to come out? Sure, we’ve been thrown a bone last December with its teaser trailer, but apart from that, there’s not much we actually know about it. Apparently, there’s only a highly selected lucky few who can vouch for its existence, and Shack News is one of them. Check out what they supposedly know of the game at the full article.
News have been circulating about 3D Realms’ Duke Nukem Forever for a couple of years now, and we still have to see anything concrete about it at all. So what’s taking this first person shooter forever?
Much speculations have been given, with some saying that it won’t actually come to fruition, while some still firmly cling on to the belief that it will one day soon grace our next-gens. Well, Shack News apparently is a believer as they have just reported that the game does actually exist.
Steve Gibson of the said site has proclaimed that he has seen it with his very own eyes, along with Maarten. He claims that he has witnessed for himself “several different DNF gameplay scenarios, mechanics, and environments being demonstrated.”
Apart from these, he says that he’s also seen in actuality what Duke curator George Broussard has claimed in the past and more: environmental puzzles and interactivity, a host of finished weapons, the existence of an in-game forklift, and plenty of heads and arms being blown off.
It sure has taken a while before any teeny-weeny bit of information dropped on us on DNF. And from the looks of things, with all the mystery surrounding it, this title should actually look pretty darned good. But for now, it certainly remains to be some form of videogaming sasquatch. You know, the type that everybody’s talked about, but haven’t really seen.
We’ll keep you posted for more updates on this intensifying mystery as soon as we get them.
