DVD Player Not in Wii

It was first announced that the Wii would play videos. After not hearing about it for a while, it was rumoured that it was taken out. Now we can confirm that there will be no DVD playback in the Wii.

The reason? Nintendo wanted to keep costs down and because almost everybody already has a DVD player anyway, they decided to scrap the feature off their machine. We gotta agree, most people should have a DVD player so it’s no real problem right now.

The Wii does allow flash in its web browser which means you can watch all the YouTube videos you want! Should be really fun for when there’s nothing on TV. We know we’ll be using it a lot!
