Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires reaches Gold Status

KOEI announced today that Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires has reached gold status. The game is scheduled to ship in North American on March 28th for the Xbox360 and the Playstation 2. The title obviously is still available for preorder at Gamestop.com, EBgames.com, and Toysrus.com. Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires is taking its first rounds on the Xbox360. With features such as 720p, Dolby Digital, and wide screen this new game looks to be killer.

The general overview of the game starts you with a map of Ancient China, with your ultimate goal of covering 25 regions into one empire using indomitable military force and cunning. Before each battle you must set things straight with the war council and then decide your moves. You will have total control over your armys life or death, your choice is their survival.

There are 4 scenarios to unlock, 2 Player “co-op” play in Empire and Free modes and new items to unlock. The two player game is rated T for Teen and contains mild language and violence. The prices will be $29.99 for PS2 and $39.99 for Xbox respectively.
