E3 2008: Wii Sports Resort announced, coming this Spring

At the concluded E3 press conference, Nintendo revealed the sequel to their hit game, Wii Sports. Called Wii Sports Resort, the game has several new beach-themed games, and will make use of the new Wii MotionPlus accessory. Details in the full article.

It’s a day at the beach in Nintendo’s sequel to the popular Wii Sports game. Called Wii Sports Resort, the game will feature beach-themed games.

A complete list of the sports included in the game hasn’t been revealed yet, but what we do know, as revealed in Nintendo’s E3 press conference, is that the game will Disc Dog (frisbee-tossing fetch game), fencing, and jetskiing.

Wii Sports Resort will be packaged along with the new Wii Wiimote accessory”>MotionPlus accessory, which allows the Wiimote to have more precise motion tracking. The game will be out this Spring.
