Blizzard was there at E3 not only to talk about all things StarCraft-ian, but also to update folks on the next set of planned updates for their hugely popular MMO, World of Warcraft. In this case, the big news is the introduction of Zul’Aman to the World of Warcraft, as well as some minor updates about the future of voice chat and guild banks in the game.

First off is Zul’Aman. Zul’Aman looks to be a ten-man raid instance that functions somewhat like Zul’Gurub, which means an open area without any attunements needed to enter. According to the preview shown in E3, there’ll be a minimum of six bosses, which includes four new animal god bosses – a dragonhawk god, bear god, lynx god, and god of evil – as well as a witch doctor boss and Warcraft II’s Zul’Jin, the final boss of the instance.

Additional information for the instance includes enemies that can summon reinforcements by beating on war drums, as well as new quest lines that include hunting for treasure and a timed set of rescue missions that will offer better rewards the sooner the missions are completed.

Blizzard also notes that voice chat will be added to the game at no cost to players. This integrated voice chat system will mute the game slightly whenever a player talks and will use on-screen icons to indicate who the speaker is.

Guild banks, on the other hand, will add additional functionality for guilds who need a good place to stash their loot. The guild bank system will allow officers to set up vaults for storing guild possessions. Permission to access the guild bank’s stores will be dependent on the permissions allowed by officers, as well as the rank of the player in his guild.
