EA DICE talks Mirror’s Edge sequel

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is just around the corner and it’s definitely keeping EA DICE busy as a bee. But after the launch and the stress has ebbed, could the possibility for a Mirror’s Edge sequel finally shine through?
“I can’t really comment on that,” Exec. Producer Karl-Magnis Trodesson started to explain, “because we haven’t offcially announced that we’re working on it. But we were very happy and proud of Mirror’s Edge one as a studio, so we are thinking about what we’re going to do in the future.”
While that seemed very up in the air, he did say something that could lend a spark of hope. “It’s important for us to find other projects and other games that perhaps can turn into IP’s and then later on franchises. Mirror’s Edge was a big test for us and you’re going to start seeing more of these in the near future.”
That’s very interesting to hear. And very good news for fans of the female-heroine Faith. Keep your fingers crossed. You may soon find her leaping across scaffolding and into the aironce more soon.
