Electronic Arts is sending out word that owners wishing to return this Wii game are entitled to do so. EA’s press statement is readable over in the full article.

Publisher Electronic Arts has recently sent out an announcement to apologize for the mix-up, and to inform the game’s current owners that they can opt to return the copy. Quoting EA’s PR dude Cameron Jenkins regarding this matter:

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for Wii does not support online functionality in Australia. We made an error in the documentation and marketing materials. We are very sorry to have caused confusion for our customers. We will provide a refund to anyone in Australia who wishes to return the game to EA because of the lack of online functionality.
