EB Games reveals Wii Fishing Rod
While searching the internet for news, our internet hamsters picked up a rather strange bit of information from the EB Games website. Apparently, the Wii will be getting a new peripheral, in the form of a fishing rod extension for the Wiimote and Nunchuk.
As it stands, the Wiimote-Nunchuk combo already happens to be a good way of going through the motions of casting and reeling. Still, it seems the folks who developed this new thing wanted to take it just a little further.
The fishing rod extension looks to be priced at around US$ 10, since regular prices for Wii games are in the US$ 49 range and Hooked! Real Motion Fishing happens to be priced at US$ 59.99. In any case, we’ll find out more about this once the game comes out on September 3.
