eds1v vile lair

The next chapter to Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion starts this July 13th! In this new content notorious bloodsucker Greywyn Blenwyth signs up with the DarkBrotherhood with the ultimate goal of turning everyone into his kind and dispatching those who refuse his “gift.” He uses his allies to rid the Dark Brotherhood and forms the Crimson Scars – a name derived from the unusually vicious neck lacerations left by his assassins and their jagged blades.

The final act in Greywyn’s plan is to execute the Dark Brotherhood gerenerals in one strike. But his plans were betrayed by one of his proteges who didn’t like the taste of blood. The rebellion is crushed even before it started and leaves the entire sanctuary in a sea of blood.

Greywyn somehow escaped the carnage and retreated to a cave named Deepscorn Hollow. Greywyn, now alone constructs a Shrine to Sithis and prays to bring his bloody dead dreams back to reality. Sithis would grant his prayer only if Greywyn would renounce his vampiric ways and become mortal once again as a penance for the betrayal of his brothers.

Greywyn spent months gathering the ingredients for the cure to his bloodlust. And as he approached the Shrine of Sithis for one last prayer as a vampire, the Dark Brotherhood finally tracks him him down.
