Lost Odyssey for the Xbox 360 - Image 1Japanese game developer Mistwalker‘s RPG Lost Odyssey for Microsoft‘s Xbox 360 has definitely been confirmed for release on February 29, 2008 for Europe. The role-playing game which was first released in Japan last December received a total score of 36/40 from Famitsu magazine’s full edition.

In Lost Odyssey, players take control of Kaim, a character who’s been alive for 1,000 years but doesn’t remember his past. There will be other characters joining Kaim as he lives through many generations and gets involved in conflicts throughout this epic story. Aside from the interesting premise, Lost Odyssey is also reported to become a “blockbuster” game because of the talented people behind its creation. Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, Japanese novelist Kiyoshi Shigematsu, comic artist Takehiko Inoue, composer Nobuo Uematsu, and developer Feelplus contributed to the creation of this epic game.

Mistwalker and Feelplus’ Lost Odyssey sounds very promising, so it might be worth the little wait for its February 29 release. North America will be getting Lost Odyssey on February 12, while Australia will get the game on February 7.
