European Rock Band songs to arrive as DLC in North America

It seems like MTV Games has a little treat for those Rock Band gamers in North America who have a liking for European rock songs. The publisher confirmed that the new tracks found on the European version of the game will be released as downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 iterations. If you somehow find the soundtrack of Harmonix‘s Rock Band (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) a little too “American” for your tastes, then perhaps you shouldn’t be quick to judge its selection of available songs.

In a recent post on Shacknews, MTV Games has confirmed that the new tracks found on the European version of the game will be released in North America as downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 iterations.

The UK release of Rock Band will include these new songs which will eventually find themselves on the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network:

• Blur “Beetlebum” (English)
• Oasis “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” (English)
• Tokio Hotel “Monsoon” (English)
• Muse “Hysteria” (English)
• Les Wampas “Manu Chao” (French)
• Playmo “New Wave” (French)
• Die Toten Hosen “Hier Kommt Alex” (German)
• Juli “Perfekte Welle” (German)
• H-Block X “Countdown to Insanity” (German)
