Even more Dragon Quest Swords screenshots

Square Enix has let loose a big bunch of new screenshots from their upcoming Wii title, Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors.

Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors is a spin-off of the company’s highly popular Dragon Quest franchise.

The battle system in Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors – which is very similar to the one used in Kenshin Dragon Quest – is kind of like the ones found usually in on-rails shooters. Instead of a gun, however, players will use the Wii’s motion-sensing remote to wield a sword and a shield as well as some powerful magic.

Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors is slated for a July 12 Japanese release. Check out the screenshots below in the meantime. There’s more after the jump.
