EverQuest II Update 38 sneak peek

The 38th update patch for Sony‘s EverQuest II should be available at the live servers this coming September 12. If you are rather excited about this one and certain that you won’t be able to sleep well for the remaining few days while waiting for the update, don’t worry! The developers have provided a sneak peek for Everquest II’s latest patch over at the game’s official website.

The developers mentioned that these are just a couple of the things they’ve done and certain other new features have not been listed yet. The full changelog should come with the patch note in a couple of days after Update 38 goes live. In the mean time, just take a look at these new content:

• Crazed Prophet or Savant?: Tobel Patadash, the self-declared Prophet of Bristlebane is openly discussing the return of Bristlebane to Norrath. Head to the docks of the Enchanted Lands to learn more from this halfling.
• Function, Fashion – You Can’t Lose!: An “Appearance” tab is being introduced to your inventory window in Game Update 38 which will allow you to equip your character for function on the “Equipment” tab, and for fashion on the “Appearance” tab. This new feature will be activated on the PvP servers as well as the non-PvP servers.
• New Persistent Instance: The Estate of Unrest becomes the next instance in EQ II to take on the persistent instance technology. Now groups of players can face the horrors of Unrest at their own pace.
