Epic Games‘ Mark Rein earlier confided to the Sony PlayStation 3 fandom that their port of Unreal Tournament 3 was going to be slower than its version for the PC. Epic Games‘ Mark Rein earlier confided to the Sony PlayStation 3 fandom that their port of Unreal Tournament 3 was going to be slower than its version for the PC. Needless to say, we imagine there were plenty of fans who were worried this would equate with a blander frag experience. That might not be the case, however, based on a UT3 PS3 gameplay video we’ve just picked up.

The game does feel a tad slower based on what we’re watching. Visually speaking, the game’s grit and detailing shine through – although the slightly jerky movements lead us to presume this was played on a SIXAXIS. Consider this video a teaser for UT3‘s expected romp into North America’s PS3s by this December 10. Happy viewing!
