Face of Mankind exec faces interview

Face of Mankind

The Managing Director for Duplex Systems, Marko Dieckmann, sat down with MMMORPG.com to talk about Face of Mankind. The game has been up for more than half a year now, and frankly, it’s not making as much noise as it should be.

Dieckmann admits that the game is off to a slow start, and that this could be attributed to frail advertising strategies, plus the fact that the retail is not launched yet. However, he remains optimistic that all this would turn for the better, since their publisher has now fine-tuned their plans for the game’s promotion and retail. Expectedly, this should significantly up the awareness of gamers about the game, and pique their interest sufficiently to want to play it.

As for the Milestone 2 patch, the plan is to immerse the players in an active environment where they can freely affect the outcome of the game.  Says Dieckmann, “Milestone 2 will also be the ultimate revision for the mission system, a key feature of the game.” Here, the players get to create their own missions, except for “basic” ones, which are created automatically.

And he goes on to talk more about the plans for the game. The political structure of the game, the particular duties of characters, the player combat…pretty much, everything that needs to be known to fully take advantage of its features. So, if you wanna know more, and we’re sure you do, just click on the link below. Meanwhile, here are some screenshots from the game.
