Fantasy360 “Frosty” Xbox 360 Controller Replacement Cases
A week ago, Xtreme Enterprise informed its anxious customers that the Fantasy360 controller replacement cases are currently in the mid-phase of production. Four of the seven colors have already been made in the first release batch. The paper insert design from Decalgirl will also be used in the final packaging. So what’s the fuss about? Though some Xbox 360 gamers aren’t very particular about how their controllers look while they play games, you’d be surprised at a number of gamers who really look forward to these kinds of products. One reason, of course, is to give their controllers a little bit more personality.
Xtreme Enterprise is claiming that production is taking more time than expected because they opted for a “frosty” look. This is after customers complained about the cheap glossy look of the initial design. To give you an idea on how good these babies look, check out the photos. As you can you see, you have 6 colors to choose from: Crimson South, Bleu East, Black North, Clear West, Orange Tange, and Green Mid. As they are partial images, just imagine how they’d look like on an actual controller. I think it’s great. I’m actually loving the Green Mid.
These cases are expected to ship this month.
