FFXII’s Vaan and Penelo in Final Fantasy Tactics A2
A quite revealing scan from Japanese magazine Shonen Jump announces Vaan and Penelo’s inclusion in the upcoming Final Fantasy strategy game, Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Sealed Grimoire.
A small screenshot embedded in the scan also reveals that the two lead characters from PS2‘s Final Fantasy XII will be playable and not only hanging around as supporting characters.
With Vaan and Penelo taking the spotlight in yet another DS Final Fantasy title, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, their being in FFA2 is quite a nifty Easter egg, much like Cloud being playable in the first Final Fantasy Tactics game. Not to mention a smart marketing move as well.
All things considered, we really can’t wait for the release of Final Fantasy Advance 2, which will be out in Japan this coming October 25. More updates as they come!
