Woot! After much confusion over Resident Evil 5‘s demo, we finally have the damned thing clocked for an official release in North America. So, whether you have a PS3 or an Xbox 360, here’s what you can expect in the demo, via Capcom‘s press release:
- two playable levels
- three co-op modes:
- single-player with AI support
- two-player split-screen offline co-op on same console
- two-player online co-op over network
With that said and done, take out those big fat red markers and your trusty calendar. Here are the go-live dates for both networks:
- Xbox Live: January 26
- PlayStation Network: February 5
Yeah, it might be a timed-exclusive for the 360 for about a week, but all’s well that ends well. You should count your blessings too, because over at Japan, the only way to get a PS3 demo is via the demo disk included with the PS3 console.
Capcom’s Resident Evil 5 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 is to be released on March 13.
