The version on Virtual Console will stick to the very same game that took the RPG world by storm in 1987. Unlike the remake in Final Fantasy Origins, the original Final Fantasy comes sans the MP system and the target-redirection function that allowed characters to automatically select a new target if theirs gets killed before they can attack. This means you’ll be swinging at thin air if a preceding character manages to take the enemy out.
