First screenshots for Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2

The first images of Konami‘s new Yu-Gi-Oh title for the PSP have finally been released. Dubbed Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2, this title is the sequel to last year’s GX Tag Force. I haven’t played the latter game yet (the last title in this series that I had a brush with was Duel Academy), so I can’t rightly deduce what new things are coming in this title based on the screenshots below.

According to Gamekult, new characters will be making their appearances in this one, including Aster Phoenix. Research also reveals that the first GX Tag Force had a larger library of usable cards than any other Yu-Gi-Oh! game before it, so it’s quite possible that this one will add some more new cards to that library. It’s also likely that the four-player multiplayer support will be in this game as well.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2 is slated for a Summer release in Japan.
