First set of images from Skate for Xbox 360 and PS3
A month since EA has made the announcement for this skateboarding game, we are finally starting to see some images of what exactly they have been working on. And so EA adds another sport to its line of sports games, and this time around, they take another foray into the world of skating with their upcoming game, SKATE.
These scans are from the magazine CPM and shows Danny Way, one of the most respected names in the field, as he will be the poster-boy for this new sports title alongside other skaters such as PJ Ladd.
EA hopes that SKATE would become the first title to shake the already-established Tony Hawkfranchise off of its pedestal. Using a physics-based system instead of pre-animated moves, the developers are hoping to be able to give a sense of individuality to each of the skaters and to allow players to experience the thrill and excitement of skating without having to deal with the possibility of bruised shins and broken bones.
