Flybug Media announces Mastering the Craft conference
Public relations agency Flybug Media announced that it will be hosting a new conference known as “Mastering the Craft of Online Gaming Infrastructure”. The event is focused solely on the business side of operating MMORPGs as well as other online video games. The first ever conference of the series will take place on April 19 at the Marriott Hotel in San Francisco, California.
This conference will see the gathering of several industry experts who will discuss various issues the online gaming community is currently facing, as well as possible solutions to these problems. Some of the many relevant topics include “Your MMO Infrastructure: Build or Buy?”, “Latency can kill online games. How do we make sure this does not happen?”, and “Maintaining and Updating MMORPGs”.
There will also be some lectures and sessions on networking. “The online gaming industry IS the future of gaming and this conference allows us to examine and discuss issues and best practices that are relevant to this business so it can continue to move forward,” remarked conference participant David S.
