Focused testing on WoW PTR: Shaman totems

World of Warcraft Shaman totems - Image 1 Blizzard poster-slash-QA Hortus announced on the World of Warcraft Forums today that they will be conducting a focused test on the Public Test Realm. Here’s what he had to say: “The latest PTR build (6803) introduced a fix for non-aggressive Shaman totems aggroing guards in neutral cities.”

Non-aggressive totems include the restoration or support totem types: Healing Stream, Mana Spring, Poison Cleansing, Disease Cleansing, Mana Tide, and Fire Resistance (Most of the totems included in the list are naturally Water Totems). Since these shaman totems are non-aggressive, unlike the Fire Elemental Totem for example, they shouldn’t aggro the guards of neutral cities. So far, players testing around Area 52 (neutral goblin town) haven’t had any problems.

We’ll keep you posted on this fix as soon as updates become available. Stay tuned for more World of Warcraft news.
