Folklore video: the netherworld never looked so pretty
While E3 wasn’t as spectacular as it used to be, the number of amazing games on the table is simply overwhelming. Game Republic‘s Folklore is one of the most beautiful games yet to see a western release, and here’s a gameplay montage to prove it.
One would say that the combat, even with all those cool demons to summon, isn’t anywhere near groundbreaking. We’ll have to say it looks fun, and the game earns more merits in other aspects that almost warrant it as a must-buy.
The art in Folkore is downright breathtaking – from the creative and unique monsters, to the gorgeous environments. Its style is clearly Japanese, with transforming pretty girls and a Jrock track to boot.
