Food for life: The Everlasting UnderSpore Frond

Free food! - Image 1Bummed by the need to go to town (or a mage) in the middle of a quest for nourishment? Here’s something that could help you out. WoW Insider alerts us to the existence of the Everlasting Underspore Frond. The item has this ability to conjure 10 Underspore Pods, which you can eat for 4410 health and mana over 30s.

Despite the fact that the Frond has a 12 hour cooldown and you can only hold 20 Pods at a time, it is still a very convenient questing solution. Especially if your mage is stingy.

How to get this item? Get friendly with Sporegarr. Get the quest. Kill the boss. Grab the fern. Wait wha? Okay, I’ll repeat. Get friendly with Sporeggar to get the quest that asks you to steal a frond from the Underspore (not to be confused with “Bring Me A Shrubbery!”). Go to the Underbog (in Coilfang Reservoir), and then kill the first boss (the Hungerfen). When big baddie is dead, go interact with the Underspore (the wall near him) and there you go.

Now that you’ve got the Everlasting Frond, you might want to finish the Underbog too.
