All we can say is that those Australians are very lucky. According to the Xbox website, all Xbox users will be receiving a free status upgrade for the weekend, giving everyone there gold status for a few days.

Apparently, they’re giving away this little prize for the Aussies because of GRAW2’s launch. Maybe they need more players, or perhaps it’s just out of sheer luck that they’re getting this nice treat. In any case, here’s the info on the freebie straight from Xbox Live:
