Microsoft “Bringing Home” Tokyo Game Show and X06

XLAMicrosoft sure is earning lots of brownie points for ensuring ultimate customer satisfaction.

Picking up the theme from the successful “E3: Bringing It Home” stint, Microsoft will provide gamers with front row seats for the Tokyo Game Show without having to jet to Japan! From the 20th to the 29th of September,  Xbox is opening its gates to all gamers to enjoy exclusive access to Tokyo Game Show via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Connected gamers can access the best TGS content in Japan, as well as the X06 in Barcelona, Spain. X06 is the show held every year by Microsoft showcasing the Xbox range of products, as well as games designed for the products.

Included in this “package” will be highlights from both press briefings, daily updates and behind the scenes videos from the show floors. Of course that won’t be all! You can also look into the hottest playable game demos and videos in high definition. 8:00am GMT on 30th September is the time to beat for you to download everything you want.

European gamers will also be experiencing a really cool treat from Xbox as it will be offering the gamers to get into Xbox Live ABSOLUTELY FREE for over a week, 20th-29th of September! This heaven-sent week is sponsored by Windows Live Spaces. Usually available to Xbox Live Gold members, Xbox will allow European gamers full access starting at exactly 00.01 local time, until the free trial ends at 23.59 local time on the 29th.

To gain access to Xbox Live during the free week, all you need is a broadband cable to plug into the back of your Xbox360 console. This will give you the standard Xbox Live Silver membership, which, come September 20, will be automatically upgraded for you to have that instant access to connected, multiplayer gaming, retro-style Xbox Live Arcade titles, as well as the latest game demos, movie trailers, music video, plus participate in all the exciting events on the Xbox Live Calendar!

And the goodies just keep pouring in! Apart from all that, there will also be a brand new Xbox Live Arcade title launch each week,  both from the TGS and the X06. There will be more than 100 new pieces of new downloadable content available to gamers during the full nine day period. Plus, watch out also for new game videos from the following title to be showcased on both events: Call of Duty 3, Dead or Alive Extreme 2, Forza Motorsport 2, Kayne & Lynch, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom, Need For Speed Carbon, Project Sylpheed, Shrek 3 and Viva Pinata.

And then there’s some more. New picture packs and themes for titles will also be available. Alan Wake, Fable 2, Mass Effect and Forza 2 are but some of the titles under it.

If all those stuff don’t put a smile on your face, then you’re one tough nut to crack!

Stay tuned for more info on the schedule of events taking place in the Xbox “Bringing it Home” week on the Xbox Live Calendar pages at Xbox.com (xbox.com/bringingithome).
