Great tool if you don’t want to bother with Photoshop.

Free Your Avatar is a web-based service that will let you customize your avatar with different backgrounds (as well as your own customized one), props, and text. You can even load your friend’s avatar and set it beside yours. Kinda creepy though, so ask them first.

They also just loaded some new Valentine’s stuff, perfect for this weekend’s festivities. Although I don’t think just a Valentine’s card with your avatar on it will make your significant other happy. Unless it comes with a coupon for one hour of fun in the bedroom playing… ehem… Gears of War 2. And sex.
