Air strikes are fun to call down onto your enemies. Besides the fact that they pretty much guarantee victory through widespread, indiscriminate destruction, there’s a certain pleasure to be taken in the knowledge that you can command such awesome weaponry. Frontlines: Fuel of War, THQ and Kaos Studios‘ upcoming FPS for the Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, and PC does just that, and we see it in this gameplay video update.

While it’s certainly not a revolutionary game feature, THQ and Kaos Studios’ Frontlines: Fuel of War mixes things up by giving us multiple air strike types to choose from. Want a building cleared of bogeys? Have it carpet-bombed with a mere press of a trigger. Armor bearing down on your squad? Watch those tanks get pulverized with a massive helping of cluster bombs. Infantry got you pinned down? The VC24 Gryphon Gunship with its minigun has your back covered.
