Fujitsu to release world's first 7200-RPM 320 GB 2.5Running out of storage space in your PCs or laptops? Well, you guys might want to consider Fujitsu‘s recently-announced MHZ2 BJ hard disk drive series. These HDDs feature a rotational speed of 7200 RPM and 320 GB of space.

Setting aside its initial specs, the series only requires 2.3 Watts of power in order to perform read and write operations. It’s ranked as the most power-efficient drives in its class. Also, it’s part of Fujitsu’s Green Policy Innovation initiative to promote energy-efficient products.

This particular series supports the Serial ATA 3.0 Gb/s interface, which has been rapidly adopted throughout the industry, for high-speed data transfers.

Fujitsu also revealed that they will be shipping these HDDs worldwide around late June of 2008. If you’re scouting for storage disks, you guys might to consider acquiring this for your own uses.
