Pentax Optio L20, First Look
An addition to the Optio Series has just been released by Pentax. The Optio L20 pretty much contains many of the same features Pentax’s Optio series, such as the 2.5-inch non glare LCD monitor, the face recognition feature, and the blur reduction mode. A translated Russian press-release claims that the L20 is more rugged compared to the S7. With a quick glance at the products features listing, it would seem that the L20 lacks a few features of the S7, namely the capability to assign functions to the green button, and the ACDsee software package.
There is no word yet on the price of this more ‘manly’ addition to the Optio series. One could speculate that perhaps it traded a few features for more durability or a better price. At present it would seem that this camera is only available within Mother Russia.
