Gamecock's Pirates Vs Ninjas Dodgeball pushed back to Spring 08 - Image 1For those who are eagerly awaiting the release of XBLA video game Pirates Vs Ninjas Dodgeball, we regret to inform you that publisher Gamecock has decided to push the release until spring 2008. To compensate, a few new screenshots were released. The full article and the images await after the jump!

Gamecock Media Group sent QJ.NET a press wire, informing us that the Xbox Live Arcade video game Pirates Vs Ninjas Dodgeball will not be able to meet its original launch date. Instead, it will be pushed back until this year’s Spring season.

The publisher added that the delay will allow the development studio Blazing Lizard to furnish the game further. “On the positive side it gives us a chance to go back and add in additional content to the game,” said studio director Christopher Stockman.

Regarding the said changes and additions being planned, Gamecock Media provided an overview by stating:

Blazing Lizard is adding more traditional rules dodgeball modes where teams stay only on their side and multiple dodgeballs are in play. Now we can settle the score once and for all.

That’s about it for Pirates Vs Ninjas Dodgeball. Keep checking back here with us at QJ.NET in case we pick up some more updates. While you wait, however, feel free to check out the new screenshots provided by Gamecock.
