GC 2006: Kid Icarus for Wii?
Matt Casamassina dropped a rumour on the IGN Insider boards. Lo and behold! It concerns Kid Icarus and the Wii!
DonÂ’t pass out or anything. This is really JUST a rumor at this point and we have no reason to believe itÂ’s true. But that said, one of the things floating around GC 2006 right now is that Nintendo may announce a new Kid Icarus for Wii.
Again, a rumor. R-U-M-O-R. And itÂ’s more likely to be false than not, which is why IÂ’m merely posting it to the boards right now.
Say it with me: Rumor.
Good. Now that we have that out of the way, sure would be pretty cool if it could, by some chance, turn out to be true.

Yeah, this rumour has actually been going around for a while now. Matt seems to just be acknowledging that. However, it seems extremely likely. Pit being in Brawl will only help sales of a Kid Icarus game. All they’d have to do is launch Kid Icarus after Super Smash Bros. Brawl to maximize sales!
Two other games that are rumoured to be announced are sequels Battalion Wars and Super Mario Strikers.
