GDC 2007: demo screenshots of Pinball FX

For those of you who just can’t get enough of arcade games, then Pinball FX for the Xbox 360 is good news for you. This new project from Zen Studios will give pinball wizards everywhere crisp pinball goodness rendered in Xbox 360-quality graphics showcasing original pinball machines. Pinball FX will also be available for the Xbox Live Arcade. This means true-blue pinball fans can hold multi-player bouts with live chat and via the Xbox 360 Live Vision Camera.

At the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2007, attendees were treated to a demo of Pinball FX. Three original pinball machines were shown in the game. It is basically played by launching the ball with the A button and tap their analog flippers with the triggers.

Although no timetable was given by Microsoft for the release of Pinball FX, Microsoft hinted that additional machines would be downloadable after the release, to add to the three machines that were shown at the GDC. Here are some screenshots from the GDC demo.
