Gears of War hits the movies (and no it’s not a movie version)

Kotaku reports that they got a tip from one of their readers that says:

The game was arranged and played by two Gears-loving employees after-hours at a movie theatre. The 360 was hooked up to the auditorium’s digital projector and sound system, giving us a decent picture with booming audio.

Yeah, add that quote to the image above and you can pretty much figure out that two employees who need to remain anonymous, obviously because they might get fired, set-up the theater they work at with an Xbox 360. Here’s the hot game they’re playing asking them to press start:

Cool huh? Now if they could only find a way to sneak out the whole theater for just one whole freaking night…
