Genji: Days of the Blade: screens and vids

This is one heck of a field day for all you Genji: Days of the Blade fans out there. Not only do we have new screenshots to make the few remaining days before the release more bearable, we also have three new video gameplays at your disposal! All three gameplays basically show the stage where you are ensconced in a burning temple/courtyard. Of course, ever the fighter, you wouldn’t use that as an excuse to back out from the fight, right?

   

Anyway,the first vid, Fiery Badness, shows your character inside what seems to be a burning temple. Now, apart from your foes, you’d also have to keep a close lookout for falling debris and smoldering embers. We’re sure you’d rather have your character die of a sword wound than falling debris and blinding embers. The second vid, Red Hot Danger, transports you outside the temple and into the courtyard. Apparently, there’s still a lot of fire going on.

  

The third one, Like A Champ, just plain waxes visual poetics. Solemn background music, autumn leaves as sparks of swords…yeah. Cool. But what this particular writer finds utterly fascinating is the way the character reminded me so much of Legolas. You know, that perfect hair movement of his. I swear. All that fancy ancient moves and not a lock of hair gone astray! Anyways, we won’t be holding you up much longer. Enjoy the screenshots and the videos!
