A few days ago, we mentioned an NGCFrance report about Japanese manga Gintama making an appearance on the Nintendo Wii after basking in the Nintendo DS limelight. Now, going over another French website – JeuxFrance, we found four scans of Gintama the game from Shonen Jump. Of course, Shonen Jump having first dibs on the game’s scans isn’t surprising – the manga is currently published by Shueisha who also rolls out Shonen Jump.

Just in case you aren’t familiar with this Hideaki Sorachi-created piece, well, read on for a quick recap. Gintama the manga’s setting is in Edo, Japan and the place has been taken over by aliens known as Amanto. They have forbidden carrying swords in public and the story focuses on three characters – Sakata Gintoki, Shimura Shinpachi, and Kagura – “freelancers” who search for work to pay their monthly bills.

Although there are still no info about what Gintama’s Wii outing is gonna be about, we still have these scans to ogle at. Keep checking us out for more updates about the game.
