GoW: Top 30 “Kodak” moments
Oh, Gears of bloodied, gore-infested War, how much do I love thee? Let me count the ways…one, two, three corpses…Okay, before you guys start thinking we’ve gone off our rocker, allow us to explain that bit of uncharacteristic touchie-feeliness we’re exhibiting.
Given how much a lot of us have fallen for the killer title that gamers have taken to like locusts (pun intended), the dudes over at GamerHelp thought that instead of just ranting on how cool the game was, it was about time they enumerated the game’s top 30 moments in a countdown we’re sure fellow GoW fans will find most appealing. Here’s the first five:
#30: The Berserker
Sure, a lot of us were laughing it out when we saw that vid of the berserker owning dear ‘ol Marcus. The thing is, how many of us were screaming like schoolgirls when it was our turn to get owned by one of the game’s ugliest residents?
#29 Hung corpses:
It worked for Predator, it worked for chainsaw movies, and it sure worked for the game. When you see dead, rotting people hung up to dry like so much hamburger meat…it’s just creepy.
#28 Empty Beer Kegs
Just when you thought there was a respite to all that shooting and running, these kegs turn out to holding absolutely nothing. Grr, they will pay!
#27 The Junker
Part dune buggy and part Big-Foot, the Junker was one of the more memorable vehicles we got to ride in this particular freeway in-game.
#26 General RAAM
The game’s main villain, you’re gonna wish you see less of him and that swarm that’s always hovering about him, all the more as he kills off…
