Gran Turismo 5 Prologue TV spot: meet the Nissan GT-R

Today’s video update for Polyphony Digital‘s upcoming racing sim for the Sony PlayStation 3, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is a new TV spot that centers on the Nissan Skyline R-35 (a.k.a. GT-R or GT-R ’07).

Hear that? That’s the sound of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue marching toward the PlayStation Store and retail stores in Japan. Of course, Polyphony Digital and Sony Computer Entertainment (SOE) has released a new TV advertisement for the upcoming game for the PlayStation 3, and it centers on the Nissan Skyline R-35.

You might know it by its more popular name: Nissan GT-R (or GT-R ’07, whatever floats your boat). In the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue TV spot, we see it cruising along a picturesque road which cuts into a race track. The GT-R doesn’t look a tad bit out of place in either landscape, right?

Anyway, we’ll leave you to check out the TV ad. Mark your calendars, folks in Japan will be getting Gran Turismo 5: Prologue on December 13. Pray that Polyphony Digital decides to throw us a bone soon, but until then, we’ll keep you posted.
