More than a decade after it first came out, GTi Club rises from the arcade grave and makes an HD comeback. Apart from the huge graphics upgrade thanks to Sumo Digital, the arcade gets a warm welcome into the PS3 lineup with gameplay options that the arcade wouldn’t have thought possible. It also boasts 720p graphics and runs at 60fps.

GTi Club+ also features licensed cars such as the Austin Mini Cooper, Volkswagen Golf GTi, and others. You can play with up to seven people online, or you can just chill and play solo. Another interesting twist is the Bomb Tag mode, where you can literally blast your rivals out of the race.

If that’s not enough, you can also use the PlayStation Eye to send images to other players, with the best times uploaded to a dynamic leaderboard. Fans of the classic will be glad to know that Konami took good care of the title, and we’ll only be too glad to see the result.

The 335MB GTi Club+ comes exclusively to the PSN at £ 14.99 on the 4th of December, 2008.
