Guerilla Games spoils OPM UK “exclusive”
Guerrilla Games has released a statement announcing that it has not released exclusive screenshots or any other details about their upcoming Killzone game for the PlayStation 3, dispelling the would-be whopper of the Official PlayStation Magazine, UK.
“Well that was one big false alarm. We are not releasing any screenshots or info or anything regarding Killzone for PS3 in any publication, print or otherwise, at this present time. Now do not ask me why OPM decided to go with that back-page “exclusive”. I don’t work at OPM, ask them,” says a Killzone developer.
The PS3 community in the UK and the US recently had their heads turned when OPM UK announced in their back cover that they have Killzone screenshots coming exclusively next issue. The most probable explanation is that the announcement is a prelude to a huge April Fools prank, though there’s an off-chance that OPM has an insider at Guerrilla. We’ll find out soon, won’t we?
