Guild Wars Nightfall first-look PvP event announced
The name of the newest iteration in the subscription-free Guild Wars series has been making the rounds for a while, but only today ArenaNet has come out with an official announcement of the title – Nightfall.
According to the developer, the game has already entered beta testing, and Guild Wars players worldwide can look forward to an exclusive first-look PvP event during July 28, 09:00 CET – July 31, 08:59 CET.
Both Prophecies and Factions players are invited, and they’ll be able to try out the two new professions that come with Nightfall – the first one being the Dervish, who are tough, scythe-wielding holy warriors. The Paragon is the other one, a guardian angel of the Elonian people.
During the weekend PvP event, players can compete against each other for numerous items which they can exchange for rewards later on. Once again, tons of contents await old and new players alike in the vibrant fantasy world of Guild Wars. Besides the new professions, Nightfall will of course add a new storyline, arenas, quests and items.
